		<description>I agree older worker have a lot to bring to the table. I am in this position and presently looking for employment. It is getting the hiring manager to understand this and put aside their prejudices.</description>

		<description>It is exciting to me that the workplace is finally appreciating the value of the older worker. The Bureau of Business Management rates the older worker quality orientation &quot;excellent&quot; 82% of the time and rate their job performance &quot;excellent&quot; 71% of the time.  NCA surey found 97% of employers with older workers think they are through and reliable. They also found that older workers stay on the job twice as long as workers between the ages of 25-34.

There is a strong desire to continue contributing to a company and now especially providing for the family. The soft skills that are lacking in Generation Y such as punctuality and good customer service skills are prevalent in older workers.

After all, age is just a number and it is ATTITUDE that speaks a thousands words.  As one that is considered an &quot;Older Worker&quot;, I still have much to contribute to this world of work and have a passion for what I do.  New challenges......BRING IT ON.</description>
